Tuxedo Times – 3/11/18 [17th Edition]

Thank you for reading Tuxedo Times! These posts will be every Sunday. Recapping the week and any important updates in RPF

Events and Important Posts:

Events: Greetings Everyone. For our last AUSIA event in CPR, the AUSIA troops began Operation: Far From Over, where they performed tactics all over the island as they were getting ready for the imminent shutdown of CPR that same day. AUSIA managed to set a record, maxing 50+ troops. Later in the day we had our last event in CPR called Operation: Waddle On! It was an hour long EU event, where we waddled to all the rooms possible, and did tactics along with some iceberg flipping. Shortly before CPR closed we bid farewell to it, as many memories came alongside that cpps… Regardless of being the end, RPF stood strong and gave a BIG FAREWELL! As EU managed to get a total of +100 troops that day. Great job to everyone who attended!

Events: For our event today we had a find four tournament! Many people signed up and we had a ton of fun.

Important posts: A second discussion post was released. The second topic this week was patriotism in RPF! Check it out here.

Events: For Thursday’s event, we had a Card Jitsu tournament on Oasis, 32 spots, only 3 ranked.

Check out who won the tournament here.

Important posts: Check out this weeks troop interviews starring Van Vinc and AwesomeBob! Check it out here. The leadership decided what CPPS the RPF is moving to, if you haven’t already heard, check out the full post here.

Events: Today, we started off with an Ausia Find Four event. Later a US event named Operation: New Horizon was scheduled, but unfortunately the CPU open beta servers were not open yet, so the event was cancelled.

Check out the results of the Ausia event here.

Important posts: Another Philosophical Friday was posted! Check it out here. Another TOTW was also announced, if you haven’t seen who it is already, check out the post here.

Events: Club Penguin Universe was still not functioning during the day, so the Ausia event was replaced with a Trivia game, and the EU was replaced with hide and seek on Penguin Oasis.

Important posts: Several of our mods posted guides for the Club Penguin Universe hidden items catalogs. If you would like to know all the hidden item locations for each catalog once the open beta releases, click here for the Penguin Style catalog guide, here for the Better Igloos & Furniture catalog guide, and here for the Sports Catalog guide. A new Discussion post was also released by Queenieliz. This post begs the questions around Disney’s Club Penguin vs Private Servers. Click here to check out that post.

The reps for credits business is now owned by Junie, instead of DJCrystal. Send any reps from now on to him.

RPF has moved from the now closed Club Penguin Rewritten, to a new CPPS: Club Penguin Universe. Check out all about the reasoning behind this here.

CPU has not followed their release schedule due to issues pertaining to their staff and site. The new supposed release time for the open beta is at 3pm est later today.

Very important. A user by the name of “Bigmoron35” is looking into leaked databases for information on people in RPF, and the CPPS community. It is highly recommended that you use a different password for every site you use.

And as per usual, promotions will be out later today.
